Top 5 Bluetooth speakers for you

Our picks for the best Bluetooth speakers are based on our thorough testing and knowledge of the tech specs and features of each product. That said, these are the best Bluetooth speakers:

JBL Flip 4, Black – Waterproof, Portable & Durable Bluetooth Speaker – Up to 12 Hours of Wireless Streaming – Includes Noise-Cancelling Speakerphone, Voice Assistant & JBL Connect+

The JBL Flip 4 is tough and waterproof, and it supports Google Assistant, which you can activate via voice command. Powered by a rechargeable battery, the Flip 4 provides 12 hours of battery life, and it lasts for 2.5 hours of talk time. The speaker also doubles as a speakerphone, and it comes with a clip-on handle, which makes it easy to carry with you. And the speaker’s external passive radiators help it deliver strong, deep bass. The only drawback: The Flip 4’s sound isn’t as rich as that of the JBL Flip 3 or JBL Flip 4. And the Flip 4’s speakerphone quality isn’t as good, either. The Flip 4 also doesn’t support AirPlay or Google Cast, nor can it connect to Bluetooth-enabled headphones. Of course, the Flip 4’s $250 price puts it in the same price range as our top-rated portable Bluetooth speakers (which we’ve come to think is simply too high for a portable Bluetooth speaker).

Bluetooth Speakers,Portable Wireless Speaker with 15W Stereo Sound, IPX6 Waterproof Shower Speaker, TWS, Portable Speaker for Party Beach Camping

The X3 Bluetooth Speaker is so cute, both for the outside speakers and the waterproof speaker. The clear sound is really amazing! I use it as a speakerphone when I am on the go. You can also place the speaker anywhere you want by hanging it on your bag, etc.

LENRUE 2023 Upgraded Portable Bluetooth Speakers, IPX7 Waterproof Wireless Speaker with 20W Stereo Sound, Rich Bass, 20H Playtime, Built-in Mic, TF Card Port, Outdoor Speaker for Party Pool Camping

We love the LENRUE 2023 speakers, which come in at a little under a pound and two-and-a-half inches tall by 1.5 inches wide, one of the smaller offerings in our roundup. The construction feels sturdy, and the speakers themselves sound great. The bigger problem, though, is that the battery life really isn’t all that great. In our tests, they lasted about 11 hours at the highest volume (about 75% of the 20-hour rating), which is low for a speaker of this size. The LENRUE speakers also connect to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, but Bluetooth 5.0 makes them connect far more quickly than they do on earlier versions. That’s great for music streaming, but it’s less convenient if you’re trying to connect your phone. The speakers are waterproof, but obviously not for scuba diving. They can connect to your iPod, iPhone, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, so you can use them for music in a pinch, but not so much for serious music listening. (The sound quality is noticeably worse than what you’d get with dedicated earbuds.) They also don’t have a built-in mic for hands-free calling. They’re also not meant for outdoor use in the rain; their IPX7 rating (water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes) says nothing about protection from the elements.

JBL Flip 6 – Portable Bluetooth Speaker, powerful sound and deep bass, IPX7 waterproof, 12 hours of playtime, JBL PartyBoost for multiple speaker pairing for home, outdoor and travel (Black)

The JBL Flip 6 is a terrific choice for outdoor use. It delivers great sound for its size, and you can control its volume, play or pause music, and skip tracks with buttons on the unit itself. It also has two convenient buttons on top that allow you to turn up the bass and speakerphone, respectively. The speaker has a waterproof rating of IPX7, so it’s submersible up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. Compared with our other picks, the Flip 6 is a bit smaller than most of them and has a slightly weaker speaker, but it’s still plenty loud, and it has a more convenient carrying handle than the MoGo Pro. The JBL remote control is annoyingly small, but it’s comfortable for night use.

JBL GO2 – Waterproof Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Speaker – Black

The JBL GO2 is hands down one of the best Bluetooth speakers you can get right now. It’s tiny, durable, and best of all, waterproof. If you’re looking for a tiny Bluetooth speaker that you can throw in your bag to take everywhere, this is it. We liked the battery life (we got 5 hours and 46 minutes in our tests), and the sound quality is decent for a pair of drivers and passive bass. The JBL GO2 also doubles as a speakerphone, making it a great choice for the beach or even at the office, but like the JBL GO2 Mini, when paired together, the GO2’s speakerphone function is loud and clear, but found its voice quality to be a little spotty and prone to echo. The GO2 is a great choice if you’re looking for a waterproof Bluetooth speaker that you can carry with you everywhere. If you’re also in the market for a Bluetooth speaker, the JBL Xtreme 2 is a better choice, but the JBL GO2 is the better choice if you’re looking for a water
